Rules
In order to keep the peace within our group and its members, we have come up with a few rules to ensure the safety and comfort of everyone included. After all, FrightHigh is supposed to be a fun and lighthearted group focusing on a characters growth within a school setting.
General Rules
These are rules that always apply and must be followed by everyone in the group. These are your typical rules that you'll likely stumble upon in other RP groups as well.
-
Be respectful towards your fellow members.
-
Don't address issues you have with a fellow group member in public. Instead of talking behind their back, contact a moderator instead to get things sorted out.
-
NSFW content is strictly prohibited in the main chats and the group gallery. We no longer have a NSFW chat to ensure the safety of our minors. You're free to discuss these themes in DMs with other adults if you'd like.
-
Same goes for sensitive topics, such as drugs, violence, abuse, etc. There's a role for a chat regarding these types of themes as long as it remains group or character related. This role can be obtained by anyone. Simply ask in the questions chat in our Discord Server in order to be given this role.
Art Rules
You may share your artwork in the group's Discord server and submit it in the according chat to gain your rewards.
-
Blood is okay, as long as it's something minor, such as a nosebleed. Despite the students being "monsters", we don't tolerate much violence at school, so please keep that in mind.
-
No NSFW art under any circumstances.
-
No traced/stolen art or bases. Design or art theft will be heavily punished.
-
We don’t accept art of characters that aren’t part of the group or aren't known NPCs. You can only earn rewards drawing NPCs if they're a known staff member with a design, or if they have an application that has been submitted and accepted by the group.
Roleplay Rules
Public roleplay takes place in the groups RP server. There are plenty of chats that allow members to interact with others and discuss their characters together, however, you're free to roleplay however you'd like. This can be through a private RP server, direct messages, google docs, etc.!

-
No godmodding/overpowering, meaning you can’t play as someone else’s character, making decisions for other characters, letting your character be invulnerable or all knowing. Please keep it fair for everyone to assure a fun RP experience.
-
Don’t force your characters onto anyone. Some people may not be in the mood to RP all the time, and are allowed to say no when you ask them for a RP, no matter for what reason.
-
Don’t jump into private RPs/full rooms unless it’s stated that it’s an open RP. You're always free to jump into chats during main or mini events, however we ask you to take account of any possible RPing taking place in the same chat at the same time. Always ping your RP partner if there are multiple RPs taking place in the same chat at the same time, and add a RP end blocker at the end of your roleplay.
-
If your character is a minor, don’t force anything disturbing onto them. It will make other people extremely uncomfortable and it’s not encouraged to give characters overly traumatic backstories.
-
You aren’t allowed to RP any violent acts such as characters beating up one another, taking drugs, or committing acts that could badly harm them or put them at high risk in the main channels. Light punches and scuffles are fine. If you let your character mention a sensitive topic, please include a content warning (CW) and spoiler the part with the Discord spoiler tag. Like ||This|| !
-
Same goes for anything NSFW. No sexual acts in public RP chats. We are fine with characters flirting as long as it doesn’t go overboard or makes people uncomfortable. This is a school, after all.
-
Be considerate of other members and don’t be a meanie! Make sure others feel included and don’t just interact with the same characters all the time.
-
If you have any concerns or are uncomfortable with how your OC is perceived in a RP, please don't hesitate to contact a moderator! We will do our best to help you out in your situation.
